The whole lab travelled to Xi'an for the 20th International Association for China Planning (IACP) Annual Conference, hosted at Chang'an University. Prof. Qiancheng Wang and our PhD students presented three talks, chaired parallel sessions, and spent the week trading ideas with urban researchers from across the world.
On 10 July 2026, the Systematic Urban Management (SUM) Lab took part in the 20th IACP Annual Conference, held this year in Xi'an under the theme "Silk Road Civilization and Dynamic Transformation: Innovating Urban–Rural Coordination for High-Quality Development." Under the guidance of Prof. Qiancheng Wang, the lab's PhD students shared their research, and Zhaorong Feng and Yuefu Liu each chaired a parallel session.
Beyond presenting their own work, the team took the chance to hear how planning scholars from China and abroad are approaching health, equity, and the built environment, exchanging ideas with peers along the way — in short, a rewarding week.
2026年7月10日,系统城市管理实验室(SUM Lab)全体成员赴西安参加第20届国际中国规划学会(IACP)年会。本届年会 于长安大学举办,主题为"丝路文明与动能转换:高质量导向的城乡协同规划创新"。在王谦诚教授的带领下, 实验室的博士生们分享了研究成果,冯昭榕与刘悦服两位同学还分别担任了分会场的主持人。
除了展示自己的工作,大家也借此机会聆听了海内外规划学者在健康、公平与 建成环境方面的最新思考,并与同行深入交流,收获颇丰。
